MAFFIS, MAFFIS DARLING. QmQ That bromance is going to be tragic the moment you defect! It’s honestly one of the most charming things in the Johto camp right about now.
Still, any shakeups in the status quo aren’t necessarily bad - is I bad of me to sort of want to see Rory punch Mathis in the face? Once the relationship sours, there’s plenty of room for character development on either side. Rory’s either going to find someone new and get less acerbic as he does so, and Mathis… is going to have a whole new bunch of people to run around with. C:< And won’t that be grand?
Either way, Mathis, Ivy’s going to miss Voytek - and be in for a huge surprise if she sees he evolved while he was away!
Babbubear is a huge part of Ivy’s character development - seeing him evolved and Hulking Out with Guts activated is going to thoroughly shake her beliefs in what Pokemon are for. ))
